11:50 pm	Another step, or actually two or three? Lots of news for today, again. First of all, HP, whom I contacted to get access to a SMP VAX, seems to be really willing to offer access to a VAX 6000m640. 4 CPUs, that will be a lot of fun! Also I got some snail mail from the first universities. I'm doing professional work for about 4.5a now, but I'm willing to also go to university and get a degree at some time. Studying full-time seems to be quite out of sight, but some kind of correspondence course may work well. There are other personal changes these days, but I cannot yet talk about that. But I'm happily facing future. Really! Current Mood: impressed

11:54 pm	Day 0, really, at least somewhat Well, I just saw the Kernel Planet project and recognized Dave Airlie's name. He worked on the VAX-Linux port at some time, as I do right now, and this made me join. Today was a nice day. I really had some nice success (even twice), but I cannot yet write about it. Some friends will just know what I'm talking about. (If you think you'd know it, too, contact me and ask!) Current Mood: geeky
